Sanur Bali why stay at SanurSanur compared to other places in Bali is quiet, relaxing and comfortable it is what you would expect from the 'Island of the gods'. Hotels and restaurants are walking distance ( 2 minute walk)from the beach. The beach is clean warm and inviting the water is crystal clear.I must admit I am very partial to Sanur this is where I spent my honeymoon for 15 of the greatest days of my life. Even on a budget me and my bride were treated like royalty. I think it is the best place for honeymooners. They have have restaurants,shopping and the beach walking distances away it is it is very quiet at night, so we can get very busy. Also, Bali is a small Island everything is 5.00 usd away by taxi and less than 30 minutes. We stayed at the Metauri , it is quiet has a pool and garden and dinner by candlelight. Food is excellant, room service is fast and cost about the same as going to get the food yourself. Also the Internet was very fast. If you are looking for a great value this is the place. There is a variety of excellent local and ethnic restaurants,as well as fast food,street food you wont go hungry here. Prices for meals are very low for typical seafood lunch or dinner is about 4-8 US dollars or 2-4 Euros, breakfast 1-3 Euros even at the hotel. This is substantially less than Kuta. Kuta is like the big city with big City prices. It is 30 minutes or less by car to kuta, tambaran , uluwatu, Ubud, Nusa Dua and all major attractions in Bali.
Sanur Bali things to doSanur has many things to do there is a Bali dancing in the afternoon and night, it is only 5 minutes away, there is a Botanical garden very serene beautiful place they also have the famous Kopi Luwak coffee and the animal that made it , statues and a temple there is the Le Mayeur museum the Museum is more than a museum with amazing artwork it has a Balinese garden and a hotel in the back they don’t advertise on internet. Shopping there is about a mile of shopping outdoor stores lined up you will better deals here for clothes ,art , painted eggs, wood carving and they have suitcase to put it all in.Scuba diving, snorkeling, Lembongan day cruise, starts here the are boats the leave in the morning. The beaches are very nice and on Saturday they get busy in the afternoon, with the locals, it is so nice to see so many families relaxing, eating and playing on the beach .
Sanur bali hotels
Sanur has many hotels all walking distance from the beach and are the most reasonably price in Bali. I stayed at Mentari it was very nice, quiet, comfortable and inexpensive considering the customer service, amenities,resaurant and location making Mentari a great value. Bali travelers on a small budget, or don’t care for the expensive five star hotels found in Nusa Dua, Sanur, has many well priced,luxurious quiet places to stay. I looked inside several hotels in Sanur, there they are all clean,customer services is what you expect in paradise,rooms are large and air conditioned, most have internet,satellite TV and close to the beach as well as 24 hour security. I recommend get a hotel for 2-4 days and maybe on the last couple of days you might want to treat yourself to 5 star hotel in Nusa Dua or Kuta, Spend some time at Lembongan or try a Bungalow or you can stay at the hotel . I like the smaller hotels in Sanur you get a more Bali experience the other ones are nice for a day or two but you can get that anywhere. Regardless of where you stay you will get 5 star treatment the customer service is above and beyond the call of duty.
